    Accessibility statement

This English translation is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Hebrew version, the Hebrew version applies.

    Version 2.5 · Last updated: 25 October 2026.

    Commitment to accessibility

The yaakovavital.co.il website belongs to Yaakov Avital Ltd. We attach great importance to providing equal and accessible service to all visitors, including people with disabilities, and we act in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and in particular Regulation 35, which deals with the accessibility of internet services.

    The accessibility standard

The site was built and tested with the aim of meeting the requirements of Israeli Standard SI 5568, “Guidelines for accessibility of internet content”, which is based on the W3C’s WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, and also of meeting the updated WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA. The site is a static site in Hebrew and English, with information pages and articles and a contact form and a comments form for articles, with no complex systems.

What has been done on the site

    • A correct hierarchical heading structure (H1 to H3) and semantic marking of the page areas (header, nav, main, footer).
    • Full keyboard navigation, including a clear, high-contrast focus indicator on every interactive element.
    • A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
    • Alternative text (alt) for every meaningful image, and decorative elements hidden from screen readers.
    • Labels linked to every field in the form, and ARIA labelling for navigation areas and lists.
    • Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for normal text.
    • A responsive display adapted to screens of different sizes and to text enlargement of up to 200% in the browser without loss of content.
    • The page language and the text direction are set in the code (Hebrew, right to left, on the Hebrew pages; English, left to right, on the English pages).
    • No flashing content, no automatic playing of media, and no time limits.

    The accessibility menu

An accessibility button is shown in the corner of the screen. It opens a menu that allows: enlarging and reducing the text, a high-contrast mode, underlining links, a more readable font, stopping animations and transitions, and turning on text selection and copying. The preferences are saved in your browser only. Good to know: the accessibility menu is an aid only. The accessibility of the site is based on building the code according to the standard, and not on the menu.

Selecting and copying text: to protect the content, text selection and the right-click menu are turned off in the body of the pages. Screen readers continue to read all the text, and the forms and the phone number are open to selection and copying at all times. Anyone who needs to select text, for example for read-aloud or translation, can turn it on with the “Select and copy text” button in the accessibility menu. Text copied this way is saved with a source line.

Phone: a fixed bar with the phone number is shown at the top of every page. Clicking it opens a WhatsApp message ready to send, and the number can also be selected and copied.

    Exceptions and known limitations

    • Certificate PDF files: the four certificates shown on the site are scanned documents, and therefore they are not fully accessible to screen readers. You can contact us and receive the information in them in any convenient alternative way, including orally by phone.
    • External services: this accessibility statement applies to this site only. ain-engine.com is a separate service; this statement does not apply to it, and we make no accessibility representation about it. Links to external sites lead to sites that are not under our control, and their level of accessibility is not our responsibility.
    • The security check in the contact form: the form uses the Cloudflare Turnstile component to filter out automated enquiries. According to the manufacturer’s statement, the component meets the WCAG 2.2 guidelines at level AA, and in most cases it requires no action from the visitor. If the component prevents you from sending an enquiry, we would like to know about it.

How to contact us about accessibility

If you have difficulty browsing the site, if any component is not accessible to you, or if you have a suggestion for improvement, please contact us. Accessibility enquiries are handled by the accessibility officer as soon as reasonably possible in the circumstances, and where needed we will act to provide the information or the service in an accessible alternative way.
